Tulipa polychroma

Dating back to 1885, this pristine, multi-flowering beauty is white with hazy gray-violet tips and an infinitesimal green line on the petal's reverse, a yellow base and yellow anthers. Often called a sub-species of T. biflora, it usually yields two to five flowers per bulb. Tulip Class: Species. Bulb size: 5 to 6 cm. April. HZ: 5-8. Height: 4" to 6".
