Tulip Sweet Sixteen

One of the earliest pink Tulips to bloom in the Spring, this new hybrid opens warm ballerina-pink with paler edges and matures to luscious pale pink. As soon as the bud is set on the stem, it will bloom short, growing in height as it matures. It's perfect for early border plantings. Tulip Class: Emperor. Bulb size: a mixture of size 12 cm and 11/12 cm bulbs. Mid-April. HZ: 3-8. Height: 10" to 12".

Tulip Sweet Sixteen staged a wonderful dance on a breezy day in its North Holland bulb field. Click here for a little VIDEO:
