Tulip Menton

This Scheepers tetraploid is varying shades of enchanting rose-pink with apricot-pink petal edges, a yellow base and a rather orange interior with white stripes. Depending on the light, the day and its whim, Menton exhibits varying levels of iridescent pinkness flushed apricot-salmon. It's terrific paired with another late-bloomer, sibling Maureen. This chalice-shaped beauty is perfect paired with sibling Single Late Tulip Maureen for they both bloom later than their Scheepers hybrid siblings Avignon, Camargue, Dordogne, La Courtine and Renown. Tulip Class: Single Late. Bulb size: 12 cm/up. Late May. HZ: 3-8. 26".

Tulips are The Art & Soul of Spring.
