The Dutch Golden Age Tulip Mixture
New! This vibrant rosy-red, orange, yellow and white blend includes Tulips Judith Leyster (rose-pink with ivory flames and an ivory-yellow base) and her off-spring: Golden Prince Claus, Pays Bas (ivory with soft yellow flames, size 11/12 cm), Prince Armin and Prince Claus (rich orange, paler cheeks). Each of these varieties are tetraploids raised by the Institute for Horticultural Plant Breeding (IVT) in Wageningen, NL. Judith Leyster was one of the only female painters of portraits and still lives during the mid-17th century Dutch Golden Age. Tulip Class: Triumph. Bulb size: 12 cm/up. April/May. HZ: 3-7. Height: 20" to 22".
