Tulip Francoise
Francoise is a coveted Scheepers Hybrid Tulip that flaunts its classic chalice-shape like few others. It is a tetraploid, meaning it is stronger and more vital from a genetic standpoint. Francoise opens soft ivory-white with sulphur-yellow flames and whitens as its large, shapely blooms mature. (In one of our photos, it is shown with Tulips Affaire and Purple Cloud. In another photo, it is shown before Tulip Strawberry Romanoff.) Tulip Class: Single Late. Bulb size: 12 cm/up. May. HZ: 3-8. Height: 24".
