Our starry blend of Tulipa clusiana sorts include Tulips clusiana Daniella (mauve-pink), Honky Tonk, Juanita-TC411 (red), Peppermint Stick, Taco (red and white) and Tinka (red and yellow). Offspring of T. clusiana that dates back to 1802, these cheerful beauties have elongated flowers with pointed, two-tone petals in yellow to apricot-orange and red, and white and red. April. HZ: 3-9. Height: 8” to 10”.

    Originally from the Mediterranean, Asia Minor and the Caucasus, Species Tulips offer unusual flowers in varying heights and dazzling colors. Known to perennialize better than most tulips, they are wonderful for rock gardens, sweet clusters and naturalized drifts. Top size bulbs: 5 to 6 cm (unless otherwise noted). Plant 4" to 5" deep and 6" apart. Horticultural hardiness and bloom times are dependent on the variety. Height: 3" to 16" depending on the variety.
