Tulip Blue Wow

At first look, this extraordinary variety looks like a Tulip from another universe. On second look, it appears to be a cross between a Tulip and an artichoke. On third look, it finally looks just as it should, like itself, like nothing else. As it matures, densely packed layers of deep blue-purple petals emerge from within the lower exterior layer of green petals. When fully open, Blue Wow is one of the most peony-like varieties of all double lates with high wow value. Tulip Class: Peony Flowering (Double Late). Bulb size: 12 cm/up. Late April. HZ: 3-7. 18".

Tulips are The Art & Soul of Spring.
