Muscari latifolium Grape Ice

This handsome new M. latifolium sport has a blue-grape base that blends to pale lilac with green buds that open into bright white florets to the raceme’s tip. Commonly referred to as Grape Hyacinths, deer- and rodent-resistant Muscari naturalize readily in well-draining soil and in full to partial sunlight. You’ll need about nine bulbs per square foot. They make good cut flowers too. Bulb size: 5 cm/up. Full to partial sunlight. Bloom time in horticultural zone 5: April/May. Plant 5" deep and 3" to 4" apart. HZ: 4-8. 6" (and even taller).
