Star of Persia has immense, loosely compacted 8"- to 10"-wide globes comprised of over 50 starry, amethyst-violet florets with prominent metallic shine and green eyes (ovaries). Rabbit-, rodent- and deer-resistant, A. christophii is adored by bees, butterflies and helpful pollinators. Bulb size: 12 cm/up. May/June. HZ: 4-8. 18" to 24".
