The Sibling Tulip Special
We adore two of our recent additions to our collection: Giant Darwin Hybrid Tulips Kunyun and Chongming Love. Kunyun is a magical color-changing wizard-of-a-bloom: it opens with thick fuchsia-pink petal edges adorned with sparkling apricot to gold to yellow highlights over a creamy white base. Then, it’s gorgeously-shaped blooms become bright white with diffuse raspberry-pink petal edges. Its sibling, Chongming Love, is golden-yellow with a warm pink glow and petal tips of orange. They were absolutely resplendent at the Keukenhof again this spring planted as undulating side-by-side ribbons. Mind-blowing.
Good for horticultural zones 3 through 7, they each stand about 22” tall and have long, goblet-shaped flowers. Kunyun opens just a tad earlier than Chongming Love.
Individually bagged and labeled, it is specially priced about 20% less than our already terrific prices. Normal shipping charges apply. Bulb size: 12 cm/up. Bloom time: Mid-April/May. Plant the bulbs 6” to 8” deep and 6” apart.
