Hyacinthus orientalis White Pearl

H. orientalis White Pearl is a 1954 sport of Pink Pearl. This shimmering heirloom opens with ivory florets, or nails, with pale greenish-yellow tips. Gradually, it matures to glistening white with yellow anthers. It's a good forcer. (If you love White Pearl, you’ll adore sibling Blue Pearl and mother Pink Pearl.) You’ll need about four bulbs per square foot. Bulb size: 16/17 cm. Full to partial sunlight. Bloom time in horticultural zone 5: April. Plant 6" deep and 6" apart. HZ: 4-8. Height: 8" to 12".
